Scenic Four Year Old Finally On Track.

2nd Sept 09: Balaklava,(Cup Day):

Fastizio dominated in the 1,600m Rating 62 winning as he liked by 2 lengths easing down at his third run this preparation. Although the race was run at a muddling slow tempo and in spite of some interference in the run home, he was able to assert his authority in no uncertain manner.

After an extremely unlucky 6th at Morphetville Parks first up,Fastizio was most impressive winning his Maiden at Morphetville, (on 19th August), by 2.5 lengths over 1,600m in the easiest of fashion. At all three appearances this preparation ,like most Scenic progeny, the maturity factor both physically and mentally has been most apparent. He also has, finally, been ridden correctly which is "quitely" back in the field which has allowed him to show his turn of foot and use his staying prowess to advantage.

The beautifully related son of ill fated super sire, Scenic was a $75,000 purchase from MM Perth Yearling Sale.

Plenty of wins seem assured for this promising stayer.
