Group 2 Winner for Oratorio(IRE)

On a card where Starspangledbanner proved that he was sprinting star without equal in England, another star the young Danehill stallion, Oratorio(IRE) continued to add to his impressive list of stakes winnners. King Torus in only his third outing won the Group 2 Superlative Stakes. It was a stellar effort by this 2yo, who won by only a narrow margin after losing his way out in front and seemingly waiting for the others catch him. Trainer, Richard Hannon, a big supporter of the stallion in England, is now eyeing feature Group 1 races with the Dewhurst in England and a possible overseas campaign in Italy and France now on the cards.

King Tours becomes the 5th stakes winner for  Oratorio(IRE) joining Group One winners, Beethoven and Banchee the Champion 2yo of New Zealand. Oratorio now has 40 individual winners to his credit with 13 stakes perfromers. His first southern hemisphere crop are now starting to hit their straps with many major trainers reporting, that as they mature their full potential will be seen.

Darrell Ible Bloodstock has been a strong supporter of this young stallion with numerous booking being taken for clients over the previous seasons, now paying great dividends in the sales ring. A number of his exceptional yearlings have also been purchased over the past two years for clients, with all reports at this stage being quite positive.
