NZB Sales Karaka 2010.
The much anticipated New Zealand yearling sales series went off with a bang. The buying bench of international buyers was what you would normally expect at Easter in Sydney. Australian and Asian based buyers, being the dominant players, particularly in the Premier sessions. The increase by median in excess of 35% in Premier and Select sessions is the best indication of these sales overall strength.
Darrell Ible Bloodstock operated on behalf of Sydney based client Mr Bert Vieira, purchasing a total of four yearlings from the Premier session. Three of those being by impressive first season sire, Darci Brahma a colt and two fillies.The most impressive purchase made was Lot 427, Pentire - Gondolin filly from the draft of Rich Hill Stud. A lovely individual bred on the same Pentire x Zabeel cross as quality Group 1 winner Art Success and from the family of Storm Cat and Royal Academy. .jpg)
